Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains how Calculator+ (“the app”) handles information when you use our Android application on Google Play. The app is operated from Northern Ireland.
Summary
Calculator+ is a calculator and personal utility app. It does not collect, sell, or share personal data with us for advertising or analytics. There are no third-party ad SDKs in the paid app model, no Firebase Analytics, and no developer cloud backend for your calculator history or notes. User-generated content stays on your device using local app storage and platform encryption facilities where applicable.
Information we process on your device
Depending on how you use the app, it may process the following on your device only:
- Calculator state and helper inputs (for example tips, units, percentages)
- User-generated notes and related text you choose to save
- App preferences and local access-control settings you configure (for example PIN-protected features)
We do not require you to create an account with us.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect via a developer server:
- Name, email address, or contact details (unless you choose to email support yourself)
- Location data
- Advertising IDs or device identifiers for tracking
- Usage analytics dashboards operated by us
- The content of your notes on our servers (we do not host them)
On-device storage and security
Notes and preferences are stored in private app storage on your phone. Sensitive preferences use industry-standard local encryption provided by the Android platform (such as AES-based encrypted preferences). We do not upload your notes to our servers. Uninstalling the app or clearing app storage removes this local data (subject to normal Android behaviour and any device backups you control).
Permissions
The app requests only permissions needed for declared features (for example vibration for button feedback). Core calculator use does not require continuous internet access.
Internet access
The app is designed to work offline for calculator and local notes features. Optional actions (such as opening this privacy policy in a browser, or Google Play purchase flows) use the network only when you or the platform initiate them.
Children's privacy
The app is a general utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children via a developer backend.
Third-party services
Calculator+ does not include third-party analytics or advertising inside the paid app model. If you purchase through Google Play, payment processing is handled by Google under Google's Privacy Policy.
Your rights and choices
As we do not hold your notes on our servers, there is no remote note archive for us to access, correct, or delete. You may clear app storage or uninstall the app at any time. You control device backups through your device and Google account settings.

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
