By downloading or using Facts for Kids, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.
The app
Facts for Kids provides educational facts for entertainment and learning. Content is provided “as is”. We try to keep facts accurate and family-friendly, but we do not guarantee every statement is complete or current.
Free version
- You may use the full fact library on your device for free.
- The free version shows advertising when you are online: a banner ad, periodic full-screen ads (for example after every three facts when swiping), and optional rewarded Boost ads to earn credits for going back to a previous fact (limited boost slots with timed regeneration).
- Ads are served by Google AdMob and are subject to Google’s terms and policies.
Premium subscription
- Premium is an optional recurring subscription through Google Play.
- Topics and category selection on Swipe are free for everyone. Premium removes all in-app ads and Boost/credit features, unlocks Favourites (save facts and search within your saved library), unlimited back to previous facts, and sharing facts with friends.
- Price, billing period, and renewal are shown in Google Play before you subscribe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel in Google Play before the renewal date.
- Use Restore purchases in the app (Me tab) if you reinstall or change devices.
Refunds
Payments and refunds are handled by Google Play under Google’s refund policies. Contact Google Play support for billing issues.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to bypass Premium or ads unlawfully, or redistribute large portions of the fact database for commercial use without permission.
Intellectual property
The app design, branding, and curated fact presentation are protected. Facts are provided for personal, non-commercial use within the app.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (if any).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Northern Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law in your country gives you mandatory rights.
