Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains how Charging Alarm (“the app”) handles information when you use our free Android application on Google Play. The app is published by Lucky Tools and operated from Northern Ireland.
Summary
- Your charge target, alert sounds, and charge history stay on your device. We do not operate a cloud that stores your battery data.
- No account is required to use Charging Alarm.
- The free app may show Google AdMob banner ads. Ad networks process device/ad identifiers as described below.
- Charging Alarm Pro (optional in-app purchase or subscription) removes banner ads and unlocks extra features.
What stays on your device
Your chosen charge target, temperature limit, alert sounds, vibration settings, silent-mode window, adaptive charging preset, and charge-session history are stored in private app storage on your phone. We do not upload this information to Lucky Tools servers. Uninstalling the app removes this local data.
Advertising (free app)
The free version displays third-party banner ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect or use device identifiers (including the advertising ID), IP address, and interaction data to show and measure ads, under Google’s policies and your device ad settings.
Pro users see no banner ads. We do not sell your personal data.
Notifications & foreground service
To alert you when your battery reaches your target level or is fully charged, the app may request notification permission (Android 13+). While your device is plugged in and charging is being monitored, a foreground service keeps a “Monitoring charge level…” notification visible. These alerts are generated entirely on your device.
Internet access
The core battery monitoring works without sending data to us. Network access is used for banner ads (free app) and for optional links you open (privacy, support, Play Store).
In-app purchases
Optional Charging Alarm Pro unlocks are processed entirely by Google Play Billing (monthly or annual subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase). Payment details are handled by Google, not by Lucky Tools servers. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Google Play account.
Children
The app is a general utility and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Your choices and deletion
- Clear app storage or uninstall to remove local battery history and settings.
- Turn off notification permission in system settings at any time.
- Limit ads via Android ad settings / advertising ID controls.
